P is for Pyrex

I started collecting Pyrex about 2 years ago. I was selling on eBay at the time & I found a piece at a yard sale that I was going to put up for sale. . .but I fell in love with it:)
& the rest is history! I am always on the look out for it & for the rare pieces I go to Etsy. For Example this butter dish, I scooped up really cheap on Etsy

This glass pitcher I got at a Thrift Store in Philadelphia, I use it as a vase . . .
Some of my little pieces are used for organizers
If you noticed in my previous post (here-here-here) our plates are all vintage pyrex . . .
Charlie & Mosby even eat off of it. . .
I love the bright colors & fun patterns! Lately I realized that I may have a little bit too much Pyrex so I have decided to downsize- I have sold some & I will be having more giveaways:)
Have a great day!

I recall having alot of Pyrex when I first got married, over the years it either wore out or got broken. I love your collection and especially the cat is included.
Lovely blog to read and look at.
Take care.

oooooo, love pyrex...just the different styles and colors/patterns they really get me! I don't have many but think I will start looking and collecting!

I love that they are made in the USA...and they are way better to eat off vs. plastic! I'm stearing clear of plastics, b/c we use the microwave to warm things up, no use taking chances with BPA toxins. So pretty too!!!
