Okay- last week I was sitting in my car waiting for a train to go by when I looked over & saw a baby changing table right on the sidewalk (
next to the trash) So I pulled over & I called my dad to come get it & bring it over to my house. What?- I couldn't get it myself ... & I don't have a husband to do my dirty work:)
First I scrubbed it down . . .
Then I brought it inside
I took off the straps & sawed off the unnecessary parts
Then I painted it white
Lined it with vintage liner I thrifted this week . .
Then I filled it with pretty Pyrex . . .
Happy Friday!

The changing table to shelf looks great! But your collection of Pyrex! Wow! I don't know if you had it out on display before, but that would make me smile every time I saw it. I wish I had a spot to get my meager collection out of the cabinet!
Smart re-style! I wouldn't have seen its potential as a shelf. Very lovely staging in the photos, too!
The shelf looks great, but I am really in love with your Pyrex collection!!
Fantastic! So pretty.
I'm so impressed with your creativity and artistry. I love the final result!!!
Have a fab weekend!
Holy cow, what an awesome job! Very jealous of your beautiful Pyrex collection too, haha. <3
You freakin rock - as usual!! I love it!!
Love it! I have lots of the green daisy pyrex. It's my favorite!
WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You are one creative, inspiring woman...from TRASH to awesome-ness!!! Your collection is making me jealous. My mom has some of those bowls with red and orange birds on them...
oh my gosh, i'd die for that pyrex collection!!
This is the best showcase and storage for Pyrex i've seen!! I see these changing tables in the thrifts all the time. Now I will get one and make this for myself. Thanks for sharing...hugs, Linda
Well done lady!
Terrific restyle!
i don't even know you and i'm proud of you :)
Oh...gees....I love this. I am going to send the link to my pyrex loving friend too. She'll die. :) What a great idea!!
Love it! I have been searching for a changing table re-style for months and nothing was this clever. Sawing off the spindles and then displaying it from the BACK is key! Thanks for sharing!
Fabulous save! I love taking an old piece of furniture and reworking it for a new purpose! I guess it's the 'frugal' in me!

Great project! And I love your Pyrex collection.
I totally would never have thought of using a changing table as a display shelf, looks great! Also, I am now regretting not picking up Pyrex any time I see it (rarely :( ) at the thrift store.
